To function properly, The Tab Limiter temporarily accesses the following tab information:

• Last Accessed Time: When each tab was last viewed (to determine oldest/newest)
• Pinned Status: Whether tabs are pinned (to avoid closing them)
• Tab IDs: Temporary identifiers used only to close specific tabs

How We Use This Information

The information collected is used solely to:

1. Enforce Tab Limits: Count your open tabs and close excess tabs when needed
2. Respect User Preferences: Close tabs according to your chosen settings (oldest vs newest)

• Local Storage Only: All settings are stored locally on your device using Chrome's secure storage system

Permissions Explanation

The Tab Limiter requests the following Chrome permissions:
